Roses Natural officially began in 2018, but the principles behind it were passed down long before then.
Growing up in Nigeria, I was surrounded by people who believed that caring for others started with caring about what we put on and around our bodies. My grandmother was a maker and healer, and my father, Dr. Chikwendu Odii, carried that tradition forward as the founder of Truth Is Life Naturalist Hospital Limited, known in Igbo as Eziokwu Bu Ndu, meaning Truth Is Life. Through his work, he served families across Nigeria and dedicated his life to helping others.
Some of my earliest memories are traveling with my father, watching him formulate products, meeting the people he served, and learning that every ingredient should have a purpose. Long before “natural” became a trend, thoughtful formulation was simply a way of life in our family.
As a child living with eczema, I experienced that philosophy firsthand. My father formulated products specifically for my skin, and those experiences shaped the way I think about product development today.
Years later, after moving to the United States, I found myself searching for products that reflected the same principles I had grown up with. Like many people, I was drawn to beautifully packaged products that promised great results. But despite trying one product after another, I still couldn’t find what my skin needed.
That journey brought me back to what I had always known: understand the ingredients, formulate with intention, and never compromise on quality.
Studying Pharmaceutical Sciences at The Ohio State University gave me a deeper understanding of ingredients, formulation, and the science behind how products work. Rather than replacing what I learned growing up, my education strengthened it. It allowed me to combine generations of practical knowledge with modern scientific principles to create products that are thoughtfully formulated, transparent, and effective.
Roses Natural is where generations of family knowledge meet modern scientific education.
What began as a personal journey to care for my own family has grown into a company trusted by tens of thousands of customers who share the same desire: thoughtfully formulated products they can feel good about bringing into their homes.
Today, every product we create reflects the values I learned growing up: formulate with intention, choose ingredients carefully, and never ask another family to use something I wouldn’t confidently use in my own home.
As a wife, a mother of three, and the formulator behind Roses Natural, that principle continues to guide the decisions we make.

That’s why we list every ingredient and identify whether a scent is created with pure essential oils or high-quality phthalate-free fragrance oils, giving you the information you need to choose what works best for your family.
At Roses Natural, we believe effective home and personal care products shouldn’t come at the expense of peace of mind.
Our goal has never been to create the largest product catalog. Our goal is to create products we believe in, products we’re proud to use in our own homes, and products our customers can trust in theirs.
